The word Christian implies a connection with Jesus, the one who was called Christ. Those who followed Jesus during his life were called disciples (from the Latin word for student), and that we, too, are called to follow him, learn from him, and seek to live with trust in him each day. We believe that discipleship is a life-long calling, and that we will never “arrive” at a point at which we fully understand God. So, in addition to putting our faith into action, we seek ways to attend to our own personal and spiritual growth. Here are some of the ways we do that here at St. Paul’s.
