Meet Our Staff

Pastor Andrew Chavanak
Pastor Andrew was called to serve St. Paul’s on May 8, 2011. Following his graduation from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (PA), he was ordained on Holy Trinity Sunday (June 19, 2011), and installed as pastor on July 10, 2011. For more information about our pastor and his family, we invite you to meet Pastor Andrew.

Doug has been the primary organist at St. Paul’s for the last thirty-plus years, and for much of that time has also served as our choir director. When he’s not on the organ bench, Doug farms his family’s land east of Falls City with his wife Linda and sons Tim and Kyle.

Molly is the excellent part-time book-keeper here at St. Paul’s. She lives in Falls City with her husband Tim and sons Reid and Chase.

Karen Maze
Karen has served as the office secretary at St. Paul’s since 2007, and does an amazing job of keeping our staff and our congregation on track. She and her husband Scott are life-long Falls Cityans and the owners/operators of Modern Sheet Metal of Falls City. They are the proud parents of two sons, Brent and Derek.

Alisha Sutton
Alisha Sutton is the vocal music teacher at Falls City High School, and lends her considerable talents to our congregation as our choir accompanist and substitute organist. She and her husband Shane are the proud parents of five children: Dylan, Alexis, Piper, Harley, and Liam.

Vickie Ziegler
Vickie is our dedicated custodian, keeping our building safe and looking sharp. She is active in the VFW Post 1765 Ladies’ Auxiliary, with whom she volunteers to support and honor the veterans of our Falls City community.
