Invitation to Prayer
Our Christian sympathies and prayers go out to the family and friends of Dennis Arnold, who passed away on September 11. Dennis was the brother of Cheryl West and Linda Dovel.  A visitation was held on September 16 in Plattsmouth, NE. Funeral and burial arrangements are pending.

Lutheran World Relief Project! // Now through October // Personal Care Kits // The Women of the ELCA are collecting personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please include the following items:
1 light-weight bath-size towel (20”X40” to 52”X27”) Dark color please.
2 bath-size bars of soap, any brand, original wrapping—4 to 5 oz.
1 adult-size toothbrush in its original wrapping.
1 sturdy comb (no picks or fine-toothed combs) remove packaging.
1 metal nail clippers (attached file optional) remove packaging.
Collection baskets & information sheets are at the entryways & in the Upper Room. // Completed kits can be wrapped in the towel and secured with a string or ribbon.

American Red Cross Bloodmobile // Cookies and Volunteers needed! Sign-Up Sheets located at the INFO Tables! // Cookie Donations (approx. 40 dozen) by Thurs. Oct. 2– please bring to the church kitchenette by 9am or Prichard Auditorium by 10am. // Canteen Workers – Thurs., Oct 2 10am-6pm and Fri., Oct. 3 8am-3pm. Please indicate the hours you are available.

Fall Community Benefit Supper- Sun., Sept. 28, 5-7pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran, 20th & Towle St. Enjoy an old-fashioned ham dinner with all the fixings! Carry-outs available. Freewill offering. Proceeds  to be given to the family of Eli Sayer for medical expenses. Eli, son of Luke and Rachel Sayer, was diagnosed with Open Lip Bilateral Schizencephaly. Eli is blind, unable to communicate, crawl, walk or talk and there is no known cure.
